Fixed pitching a song near the end of the setlist jumping the view back to the top, and the mixer fader briefly dropping down before returning.
Fixed the setlist scroll position resetting after closing Edit or Pitch — it now stays exactly where you were, instead of jumping back to the top.
Edit and Pitch now switch off each other — opening one closes the other, instead of both staying on at once. The Pitch button also now matches the app's purple accent color.
Sort now also switches off Pitch and vice versa, matching the rest of the mode buttons.
Fixed sections changing size when entering Edit or Pitch mode — song cards no longer grow taller just from opening a mode.
Song title rows in Edit now match the normal setlist view exactly, instead of shrinking.
Patch release: bug fixes only, no changes to how anything works.
v5.7.1September 10, 2026
Fixed the tray panel not opening on Windows — the panel failed to build and the app fell back to a state where clicking the tray icon did nothing.
Fixed a song appearing twice in the list after reordering in Sort. Renaming a song in Ableton — even just its BPM, key, or letter case — left the old entry behind, and it was drawn alongside the current one.
Version numbers now follow semantic versioning (major.minor.patch). This is a patch release: bug fixes only, no changes to how anything works.
v5.7September 1, 2026
Fixed the A1R Link SYNC button showing "Synced" even when no other A1R ULTRA was found on the network — it now reports honestly whether a peer was actually found, and keeps checking while the panel is open.
v5.6August 31, 2026
Duplicated songs now sync across devices — duplicating a song in Sort mode is saved to the server and stays in sync across every connected browser, the same way section duplicates already did.
Duplicated songs now run independently — skip, loop count, pitch, and section layout no longer mirror the original song; each instance keeps its own settings.
Fixed a skipped final section — and songs ending on a native STOP marker — silently continuing instead of actually stopping playback.
Sort and Edit now show the same song order — reordering no longer resets when switching between Sort, Edit, and the normal view.
Tapping a section on a duplicated song no longer jumps to its original (or vice versa).
Section size, scroll position, and song-title text no longer shift or get cut off when switching between Sort, Edit, and Pitch modes.
v5.5August 25, 2026
Tray panel fixes — corrected flyout position, auto-close behavior, an occasional freeze when closing the panel, rounded app icon corners, and the update notification reappearing even when already up to date.
Notes — pen and highlighter strokes now scroll correctly with long text, and the Games / Upload buttons no longer cover your notes or PDF pages.
PDF annotations — added a working Redo button, a font-size shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+> / Ctrl+Shift+<), and a more compact toolbar.
Rename a Notes tab by double-clicking its title, instead of a separate button.
Right-click the timecode display to change its framerate — the choice now actually affects playback.
White-colored sections now display the same as sections with no color assigned.
v5.4August 24, 2026
Fixed the timecode display resetting to 0 on every song change — it now follows Ableton's absolute position and only moves forward with the transport.
Added mouse-wheel scrolling to the desktop mixer rail.
Drag channel names to reorder added mixer channels (press and hold, then drag).
Restored the loop-count and pitch badges in List view setlist mode.
Added the missing per-section pitch buttons in List view.
List view pitch stepper now uses a left/right layout with a tap-to-type value.
v5.0August 2026
Initial A1R ULTRA release — a new setlist engine built around Split View, Edit View, and A1R PITCH.
