    Mark songs with locators

    In Arrangement View, a locator named with a song title starts a song. Locators inside it (Intro, Verse, Chorus…) become its sections. Plain names just work.

    Open A1R on any device

    A1R runs next to Live as a Control Surface plus a small server. Open it in a browser on the same computer, or on a phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi. No app to install.

    Run the show

    Tap a song or section to jump: instantly, on a quantize grid, or when the current section ends. Loop a section with Live’s own loop brace, perfectly in time.

Built for the set, not the studio

  • Reorder tonight’s set. Drag songs into a new order, hide one just for tonight, or stop after a song. Your Ableton arrangement stays exactly as it is. LITE+
  • Flow control in the locator name. Add +SKIP, +PAUSE, +LOOP:4 or >>>Bridge to a locator and A1R skips, pauses, loops or jumps on its own.
  • Auto-advance, or wait for you. With the engine on, A1R moves to the next song in your order. With it off, it plays the song and waits.
  • Every screen in sync. Jumps, playhead and setlist changes appear on every connected phone, tablet and laptop at once.
  • No internet at the gig. After a one-time online activation, A1R runs completely offline.
  • A backup that follows along. A1R Link keeps a second computer on the same song, section and beat, so you can switch over mid-song. MAX

Questions

Does A1R change my Ableton Live set?

No. A1R reads your locators. Reordering or hiding songs happens inside A1R, and your arrangement stays exactly as it is.

Which Ableton Live versions are supported?

Ableton Live 11 or newer, on Windows or macOS. A1R installs as a Control Surface plus a small standalone server.

Do I need internet at the gig?

Only once, to activate your license. After that A1R runs completely offline.

Can I run the setlist from my phone?

Yes. Any phone, tablet or laptop on the same Wi-Fi can open A1R in a browser. Read more about controlling Ableton Live from your phone.

Is it a subscription?

No. A1R is a one-time payment, and you own your tier forever.
